I am setting up my independent research programme at the IEE funded by the Ambizione grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), starting on 1st April 2021. My interests, broadly within the fields of Evolutionary and Population Genomics, include fundamental genetic processes such as mutation and recombination, the evolutionary history of life - in particular the spectacular African cichlid fishes, and developing methods and software for DNA sequence analysis.
