About me
For my bachelor thesis, I am investigating minnow (Phoxinus spp.) populations in the mountain lakes across the cantons Berne and Ticino. These minnows were most likely introduced by anglers, so several different minnow species might coexist and hybridize in some of these lakes. To identify the species, I am doing morphological and genetic analyses of the sampled minnows.
In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether skiing or biking in the mountains or just relaxing with a fishing rod by a lake.
