About Me
I am Biruh Mebratu Belay from Ethiopia. I have a strong background in veterinary medicine and a growing focus on evolutionary change in aquatic organisms, particularly eco-morphological diversification. I am currently a visiting PhD student jointly supervised by Dr. Pooja Singh at the University of Bern and Dr. Helen Nigussie at Addis Ababa University. My doctoral research investigates the adaptive radiation of Labeobarbus species in Lake Tana.
